![]() ![]() It doesn’t matter where you at use your platform and kill it. It wasn’t until a friend set me straight and said “You’re disrespecting everything you’ve worked for. ![]() I remember my first few months there I would walk into the studio and lower the music as much as I could and just blast hip hop music in the studio. I then landed a job with a Spanish station, Jose 97.5, which to me was not what I was looking for, I never saw myself in the regional Mexican market but yet there I was. I worked alongside JoJo and his team for almost six months and again things played out different from how I wanted them to be. It wasn’t until mid of 2012 a friend contacted me, who worked for 102.7 KIIS FM, and he was so adamant I needed to be back in radio, he helped me get an internship with JoJo on the Radio. I continued to do radio at the college level and even started a podcast called Let’s Bare It All. I can’t lie though I was hurt, I felt betrayed and I left radio for two years. I stayed there until June of 2010 and even though things didn’t work out for me to get hired it was one of the best experiences of my life. I was living my dream at 21 Power 106 was my dream station. I ended applying for an internship in Jan of 2010 to Power 106 and to my surprised I got it, I was the programing intern and working alongside Jeff G and Eman. I was nominated for a Golden Mike with my college radio station, 90.1 KSAK (which sadly no longer exist). I didn’t look back, I submerged myself into the field, I because the music director of the station, on-air talent, and production assistant. I have to admit it was the easiest course, but because I fell in love. In the summer of 2009, I decided to take an easy course, introduction to broadcasting. That accident also caused me to fail my semester in college and left me looking for “easy” classes the upcoming semesters. I’ve always been overweight and I allowed that to keep me from pursuing a career in the media world. I always wanted to be in media but never felt like I “looked” the part. That accident was a huge blessing in disguise, I landed a winning spot on what used to be Latino 96.3 for the Latino Take Over and I was only able to do it because I was in that accident and I wasn’t working. I was in a really bad accident in April of 2008, where the paramedics actually said I should have died. So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. ![]() They should make a new award at the Mandy awards, call it BIGGEST BABY at 710, the award should be a large pacifier and then give the award to Sadano.Today we’d like to introduce you to Laura Romo. First off, Sadano should have just spoken for himself instead of trying to rally support around him with "I'm Cuban bro, Latino people don't do that alright" secondly you can tell that it pissed off Sadano that Ireland agreed with Kap because a couple of minutes later he said: "even Ireland can't defend that one" I only listen to Kap and Sadano during crosstalk with M&I so I don't know if they go at each other like that all the time on their show but in that little exchange, Sadano was being a BIG Baby. Ireland agreed with Kap and then Ireland changed the subject on to another topic, a couple of minutes later Kap miss heard something and Sadano snaps back at Kap, "What the hell is wrong with you? even Ireland can't defend that one." Sadano told Kap that because Sadano didn't like that Kap told him "in 3 years you're going to drop your whole East coast/Miami yelling and screaming at everybody thing." Sadano then went into a rant saying "NO, the difference is I'm Cuban bro, Latino people don't do that alright, I'm ain't gonna be someone I'm NOT!" That happened during Thursday's crosstalk with M&I.
